We are locally lead. All Rethink Charity team members live and work on the ground among the people we support. They know firsthand the challenges local people are facing as they try to rebuild their lives in conflict zones or out of the ruins of war. This means the aid we provide and how we provide it is determined entirely by the needs of crisis/conflict affected people.
We don’t believe in handouts, because these keep people dependant on aid. And no one we support wants to be dependent on aid. Even in the heat of conflict, we run development projects to provide sustainable solutions for survival. This is how Rethink is built, because this is how humans are built.
It’s time to rethink giving and make charity more efficient. We don’t promise our donors 100% donation policies. We promise them more lasting returns on their Sadaqah through lasting development for people in need. All Rethink team members live and work on the ground among the people we support. Our offices are also located close to our beneficiaries, allowing us to ensure fast project implementation and provide detailed feedback to our donors.
